Tweeter noise

Hi,

I have 2 amps in my car running off my Pioneer double din. Sub amp is JL audio 1000/1d and fronts run off a Rainbow Ipaul 4.300.

I have just re-routed my earth point as the old one had some loop noise, but its still there.

Can the RCA from the sub ( not very expensive one) cause any loop issues to the other RCA ( Audisson) for the fronts ?

I should really unplug it to try, but its not a 5 min job getting the hu out to test it

Any help will be apreciated

Why did you start a new thread?

Did you confirm that the noise was eliminated on both amps when you unplugged the RCAs?

Why can't you unplug the RCAs on the amp end?

It's possible that you have the RCA cables routed near one of the 'computers' (BCM ,ECM...) in the vehicle and that's causing the noise.

Ok,

So, i spent the day changing the RCAs over, unplugging them (both ends) only connecting one at a time, re-routing the earth on the hu and changing earth point on amps and there was little difference. Only thing left is possibly the amp has noise or my crossovers that are door mounted are really close to the electric window and central locking wires in the door, so possibly these are causing tweeter noiseit only dawned on me tonight that when my old component crossovers where in the same place when using the mirror adjustment the tweeters used give feedback, but i forgot about this possible issue as i have changed the speakers and hu since then

Fyi, even lowering gains i could still slightly hear it
