I might have posted this on a different thread and somewhat long..
I want to build the fronts and surrounds for my sistem and I'm battling with a decision. I will be using JBL 2123H's for mids, the main question would be which tweeters would you recommend to pair with these to start at the 3k point and that could match the JBL's sensitivity of 101dB w/m.
Also, and since I want the fronts to be full range, which subs should I use? I have some old 15's Car JBL's with dual voice coil I could wire in series to get them to 8 ohms, however they are the lower series so I don't know how much I can get out of them paired with the 2123's. The subs are GT152D. Not really sure if I could use these, or if I would be better off getting higher power handling 12's with similar sensitivity.
Thanks!

Well, depending on the drivers I plan on building the XO's myself. There is a place in town where I can get the needed coils to specs and they'll build them in a couple days, and the caps and resistors I'll order online and get them delivered to my brother in Texas since I really don't trust the ones they sell in town. If I'm in doubt about over-powering the highs, I might get help from my sister to design a protection circuit since she and her husband used to work for delphi designin circuit boards =)
