Are there any DIY Auido lurkers out there who own both TVC (transformer) and Stepped Attenuators?
I've always considered the TVC (Sliver Rock, Sowter, etc) to be the "gold standard", although I've never auditioned one. I'd like to hear comments from people who have owned and lived with both types.
