My friend's tv is kinda intermitent. The image goes out and reapear when he hits side panels. He thinks it has something to do with the powercord. I ain't sure if he's right but assuming it could be a connection problem, which part needs to be fixed exactly?

The voltages involved, along with fragile and dangerous objects like picture tubes, make this sort of thing dangerous for novices. Death is permanent.
