I was testing the filament glow on a bunch of EY80 diodes* and I noticed a remarkable difference in temperature, ranging from 48° C to 67°. (Measured with a cheap IR thermometer)
Is that something to worry about? They are all NOS.
* Not much glow worth mentioning, on some I can't even see it. My EY88 diodes light up the entire room in comparison.
