Im about ready to purchase a TV-4000 (or maybe a TV-3000).

Just wondering if anybody has one and has some insight on what to expect. I have seen a few people have them whent hey talk about the DIY theater, but not to much inof on them. My curretn set up is the "standard" Nview Spectra C (with the Svid and Comp inputs) and Dukane 635 with the 400 wat balb (instead of the 360). After getting the 400 watt bulb im almost happy with the lighting ( still to dark, but its much better and I can live with it for now). Now we move on to Macro vision and Line doubling. This is where I get hazy. One of these units will get ride of the Screendoor? and Macrovision?
Im planning on the TV-4000 since I plan on upgrading my LCD to a higher res int he future, the 3000 only goes to 640X480, I figure for $30 more I will have something for the future, and if all else fails for a spare 21" monitor I have sitting around for PSX-2.
Anybody have some do's-donts? what to expect?
thanks
Clok
edit/ dang, I mut have mispelled somethign in my search (can you belive I mispelled anything?), lots of info on the units. Sorry for this thread, Of course if anybody wants to add any comments, feel free, after reading Im pretty sure Im ordering a TV-4000.

yes the tv-4000 will do 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. i own the viewsonic vb50hrtv which is exactly the same as the tv-4000 with a couple of differences... the vb50 does an extra resolution which looks pretty cool, but the vb50 doesn't do PAL which i don't care about since i'm not in europe. i'm very please with the vb50... it really makes my setup practical because it converts any signal into vga. the tv tuner in it is good but of course dvd's look the best. i run at 1024x768 all the time and i don't notice any problems with image quality. get the vb50 instead of the tv-4000 because it's a little bit cheaper and in my case it's a little bit better. let me know if you have any other questions.
