Turn on and off individual amp modules independantly

Hi, I am trying to setup my DIY B&O amp module amp to turn on and off the indivual amp modules depending on the audio mode selected. Example is turn on my left and right amp modules when I select stereo, or turn on 5 channels when I want to watchba 5 channel movie.
We are getting ready to put my amp together and I had planned on running 3 power cords that are each plugged into an outdoor Insteon outlet, but my friend said I need to also have a main power switch for the amp. So now I am not sure how I should do this. (electricity is expensive in Mexico, and if you go over a set amount you are penalized for 6 months of electricity ata much higher rate).
1: 3 power cords wth Insteon outlets, and no power off switch on the amp.
2: 3 power cords same as above, but with 3 power switches on the front of the case.
3. 12v remote power... not sure if or how the B&O 50BTL, or the asx125 can do this though.

Any ideas on how I should do this? My amp will have 10 amp modules in one large case.

I put a couple of these in my amp (shorted the power resistor since it is a smps) and use the different triggers on the preamp to turn on whichever channels I need.

Well actually I used the Hypex softstarts. And added a 12v relay.

Thanks for the response. So you used the 12v triggers on your preamp? How can you control which trigger turns on which amp at what action? Did you use one power switch?

Will something like this work ?

AC switch with three position. One position can be assigned mains off. And other position/s to switch on power to 2 modules or 5 modules. The industrial looking knob can be replaced. The image attached is not clear about poles and connections. But I guess multiple poles could be available. Take precaution though as this will be for mains power line.

I do not think so... I want to have the amps turn on or off automatically When I select a different audio mode... ie stereo, 5.1, 7.1, Atmos. I will use either the preamp if it can turn on and off by selecting an audio mode, or home automation modes.
I just am not sure which way to build the amp to do this to make it work.
