Tube RIAA Phono Pre-Amp

I need an RIAA Phono Pre-Amp for the Tubelab SSE that I am building. I need something fairly simple that does a quality job. I have looked at a myriad of these available in the forums here on diyAudio and the more I read the more confusing it gets. Has anyone built anything like this? I would prefer it be from the US to cut down on cost of shipping and parts availability. I am currently running a Technics SL 1301 and a Shure M97xE cart

I haven't built one of their phonostages but the SP14 linestage is really good. If the phono's are as good they could be worth checking out.
