Does anyone know of a tube preamplifier which is well documented, easy for diy and that has already been built before? I am searching for some time now to find an article like those published from Mr. Pass, for his series of preamplifiers, but to no avail. Can someone help pointing me in the correct direction.
I have found out about Pete Millett's low-mu preamplifier, from Audioxpress magazine 02/04, but I can not find anyone that has built this preamp nor any reviews. Any comments?
(This preamp can be found at www.pmillett.addr.com)
Thank you
George

Bottlehead Foreplay.
Built by many, easy to build, cheap, sounds good (to me), and has great support.

Newbie question:
Why are the tubes used for the signal side also found in the PSU side? 😕
