was wondering how much money (and when 🙂 ) I could get for a 12AX7, "Made in West Germany", "COMPUTOR TUBE", flat grey plates, diamond base (I'm guessing a Tele relabled for something ENIAC-like 😉 ). Works great.

I've had pairs of tested used TFK ECC83s go for anywhere from $16 to $33. (n=5)

The most i've gotten is $36 for a pair of Valvo ECC83s

Certainly buys a lot of 6N1Ps 😀

Tim,

Last June I sold five used ECC83s on eBay (two Telefunkens, three Mullards) to a gentleman in Thailand for $89, and later two Telefunkens to a gent in Hong Kong for $22. These were tested only by trying them out in amps, if you have any more objective measurements of performance you can get more.

If you allow international bids on your auction on eBay you possibly might find bidders coming in from all over SE Asia , seems to be many valve enthusiasts there.

Hello ,
You would be far better off having the thing tested but saying that I would only expect a maximum of $20 if the print is smudged or worn . You get far more money selling in pairs , especially if construction and test results tally
