Also, 3R9 cathode resistors aren't gonna be of much help in preventing current hogging. Resistors that small will do for transistors, but not triodes. 100R would be more like it

I was under the impression that the atma-sphere used 5R for this very reason.

Well I can only experiment. I will keep you informed of my findings.
I will try with higher values resistors.

It's for that reason you should include bias adjustments, so you can bring the actual plate currents to the design nominal values

yep got these on each rail. also trying out with adjustments for the fets and ltp CCS on the individual cathodes.
