Hi,
Do you have any superstitions or religions about what's in the phono stage? I have a circuit I was going to publish with some really fine little op-amps in it. It runs on 3 AA cells for weeks and I think it sounds quite a bit better than the one I made with NE5532's and four 9 volt batteries. I could throw one together and mail it up for you to try.
