Tube Amp Repair - SE Michigan
A few years ago I picked up some names for tube amp (and preamp) repair in SE Michigan at the AK-Fest.
I've long ago misplaced the cards and numbers I picked up.
I would like one or two contact names and numbers. I think one guy was in Pontiac, the other in Ferndale (or Fenton) but to tell the truth, it was so long ago I don't remember.
My Golden Tube Audio SE-100, 100 watt EL-34 push/Pull amp is in need of repair.
It has a few charred resistors which measure well, and a cap which needs re-soldering but nothing I can see which prevents it from working.
The power button lights up, the tubes warm up and glow as usual, but there is just no output/sound.
