I have (3) monoblock tube amplifiers that were custom made for me yrs ago. The builder is now retired and not able to work on them anymore.
I am looking for someone (preferred within a 3hr drive of Detroit, who would you be interested in looking at these amplifiers to see if there is anything we can do to minimize some of this distortion I get at high volumes without taking away from the magic they deliver?
The wiring is point to point wiring - no PCB involved. Output is 1625 tubes in Push Pull configuration. Input is 13EM7/15EA7 tubes. Transformer is HH-SCOTT TRA-15-2 on the stereo pair and the Center-3rd is an Aerosound TO330.
I am not a Tube-Electrical Engineer, but I remember there were some added transistors added for distortion to help them better balance or something. Looking at the wiring connections I would guess it will make more sense.
Anyone interested or know of someone I should contact?

I recommend that you post this in Audiokarma.org in the tube section.

There can be an absolute chasm between a repair tech and someone who can actually do the work that you are looking to have done. You're interested in a redesign of a circuit, which is not something the average electronics repair tech will be well equipped to do!
