i'm thinking of making this one in the future just to try the tube..

but it runs on 115 v and i have 230 v.. is there anyway to change the transformer so it can be connectet to 230 v???
or maybe you can recommend another kit not to expensive that can run on the 230 v 🙂

In addition to the voltage difference, the AC mains in North America are 60 Hz., not the 50 Hz. found in Europe. Inexpensive power transformers designed for use at 60 Hz. may overheat if used with 50 Hz. current. Before you spend any money make sure that the low priced kit's power trafo can work at 50 Hz.
Assuming 50 Hz. house current is OK, the voltage difference can be dealt with by acquiring a step down autotransformer.
BTW, ask the distributor if a "universal" power trafo is available for the kit. Such a trafo will increase the kit's cost, but the increase rates to be less than the cost of an autotransformer.

Edit: It's a bit more expensive, but still reasonable, and has a case!

Judging by the photographs, the KECL82 amplifier has larger output transformers, and that's a good thing. Also, the power supply is rather better, having a CLC filter. It should make a good beginner's kit.

is there anything speciel i should look for when i decide wich speaker i should make.. the amp is not the most powerfull...
