Could anyone educate me on the TU-8600 transformers? I have a kit coming and I would like to know my options and considerations. I typically like to seperate my power supply into another enclosure. If I do so with the TU-8600, I would have the real estate to built whatever I choose. Things for me to consider would be appreciated.
Elekit puts most components on a single PCB including power supply. It would be complicated to separate them as you may end up with more hum than what the stock amp has. You can move the power transformer to an external box though if you can manage the high voltage cable and connectors.
