I am thinking of trying out a Truepath TA3020 amp. I already have a HifimeDIY T4 which is pretty nice, but have read that the Truepath is better sounding.
My soldering skills are non-existent, so will have to rely on friends or pay somebody to put a kit together in case I got that way. I would rather prefer to integrate ready made modules. The Connex TA3020 V4 has caught my attention, as it is a highly integrated module, leaving me very little work to do.
Would appreciate if fellow forum members can share their listening impressions about Truepath TA3020 amps, and especially if anyone has played around with the Connex amp I have referred to.

Thanks for the suggestion - I was at this site yesterday reading an article on how to put together a Truepath. Was unaware that Audiophool sells amps too.

look into any kit from 41Hz.

My non-existent soldering skills make that a toughie for me. I didn't mention earlier, but would like to run off and SMPS if possible.

I enjoyed reading Haggis Basher review of the new Tristan amp from Audiophool maedos.
Somebody should start a thread on the Tristan amp. Who is this guy Audiophool and what
is his resume or credentials?

i talked to Audiophool last year by email he was moving to another country but was prepared to sell me a tristen i just had to email him and order it as the shop was shut i wish i bought it as the truepath i ordered from 41hz never turned up and i was refunded so i think 41hz is down forever.
if you do get hold of him can you let me know as im dying build tristan and hope hes still in business

Since the 41Hz forums are down, can anybody comment on the best mods for truepath?
