Ref post 19.......my only thought is you are sharing the transformer secondaries between 2 power supplies and are/were star grounding the transformer common at 2 points .........dont we just love earthing problems........have you reached a cure then .
Ref 20 .........i would be inclined to leave it as it is then ,you dont want to potentially trash the chip .
I guess I'll just leave it that way and reduce the gain of the headphone amp. That should actually make the whole unit dead silent.
