Hi,currently i'm trying to repair a Midas Venice 320. The problem is when powered up, some channels have a green signal light.
Even when there is nog signal applied to there input. After a minute or 10 the signal lights go out. Not even but random.
Also on the groups 2,3,4 the signal light stays on when powered up and go out after a while. When applying a signal to a,
stereo input and with no pre fade listening selected, the sound is coming thru on the headphones. Not loudly but present.
Anyone got some tips where to look, and how to troubleshoot ?
Thanks

Start by verifying power supply. Check the power supply itself first, is one voltage coming up slowly? Then look right at the ICs on the affected channels, is power getting to the components reliably or is one supply coming up slowly?
when you say 'Some channels' are these on the same PCB?
check continuity of the 0V/ Ground rail back to the power supply - I have seen this kind of thing on desks when the 0V line is open circuit or dodgy.
