I have an issue with a Bash amplifier of a subwoofer (ENERGY ESW-V8 which is another brand of Klipsch and similar as Klipsch RPW-10 or Synergy Sub-10). I have a fault on the primary side i think. I'd like to be sure that the secondary side of the SMPS is working as expected. Thus i could also check the remaining part of the sub, i mean all what is beyond, the speaker itself....I could know if all is working except the primary side of the power supply. Now that i explained you a bit. I have a laboratory power supply 3 output with 0-30v 2.5A each. My question is simple:
Where should i plug my lab PSU + and - on the amplifier SMPS. I know it has to be just after the transformer, i think its near the secondary rectifier diodes. But i need to know exactly. Also i think i need to have 1 lab PSU output with 15V on the 7815 and 7915 regulators and the other output to 25V on the secondary output diodes.

I'm sure you could do as you suggest, bypass the internal SMPS with external supplies. I believe you'll need bipolar 15v for the preamp and 60 volt for the power section. You might get away with +40, but I wouldn't expect much with 30v. It's worth a try! If it works at all you'll be ready to attack the actual issue of repairing the SMPS.
I'm about to attack a SUB 10 with failed SMPS. Like so many, the glue applied to the parts around the daughter board to keep it from vibrating had turned conductive. An explosion resulted, blowing a chunk of copper off the circuit board. As soon as I figure out where the copper is supposed to be, I may have a working unit again.

Not "lack of inspiration" but that what you want to do is impossible, period.
Won't call it "nonsense" just out of courtesy.

If the SMPS output circuits are windings with rectifier diodes, you should be able to connect your lab supplies just after the diodes, with the appropriate voltages and polarities.
The SMPS output diodes will block the external voltages from affecting the SMPS circuit. Do you have a schematic?
