Bought this all assembled and just fired it up after 3 years (worked fine when I first got it, except hum...). Hooked it up to 19DCV laptop PS, and only one channel is working, tried the usual changing speaker wires, switching speaker out, double checked signal in tightness and switched audio signal source, and narrowed it down to one speaker channel on the board (next to DC input terminal).
I have a DC meter (novice with little solder experience) that I use mainly as a continuity test or DC voltage. Any help?

You get to buy another 🙂 IMO the Tripath chips are Fakes and consequently are even more fragile than the Genuine ones.
Typically don't even sound nearly as good too.. but I digress.
Possibly there is a loose wire somewhere .. an Unlikely shot inna dark, but hope springs eternal 🙂
Buy cheap.. buy twice and If dim .. repeatedly.
