Hi to all!
I just purchased TRIPATH RB-TA105A evaluation board. It seems that a lot of modifications will be needed;
- input stage (nasty electrolytic cap in signal line)
- output filter (maybe some good foil inductor and better caps...)
- good power supply
- powering-up sequence circuit
Before I go to drawing board I would be grateful for any tipps and suggestions...

Hi
Certainly the i/p cap needs changing! Ive used the Ta 1040
eval board for some years now and tried a few things. One thing
I did learn from other users who had problems is that the caps for
the o/p filter and zobel must be pretty robust. Ive seen what happens when they fail. I now use pulse rated polyprops!
I used a pretty stiff main supply and a well regulated +5V. I found
that it also benefitted from a good mains filter quite why Ive not yet found out.
