In Russia, this kind of **** in the audio is not used.
Why? kindly elaborate ...i just wanna to know since i have 10 pcs of this tube and trying find out where it can be used...
Can you suggest some good russian tubes that are not so common like 6N8s.6n6p and etc..

Pentodes with a cathodic grid 6Zh20P, 6Zh21P, 6Zh22P, 6Zh44P of these lamps didn't receive broad distribution. 6Zh44P some time it was applied in UPCh of a sound of TVs of the third class, in the reflex scheme - at first I strengthened sound PCh, then I carried out a role of the LF powerful amplifier. Thereby all path of a sound was executed on one lamp. Ho "capriciousness", characteristic for lamps with a cathodic grid, because of impossibility of full stabilization of the mode the resistor which is switched on in a cathode chain and also
low quality of a sound of such reflex cascade, led to that soon the scheme was replaced on more traditional.
In my opinion I gave at once the answer short and exact. If the lamp was good in audio, all would apply.

I've added 6N2P/6N2P-EW russian tube. Very popular in audio application. Excluding the heater pins it can be treated as ECC83/12AX7 substitution (transconductance, amplification factor etc).

6C33C = 6S33S is already included - in two versions - with one or two cathodes heated.
I like the look of 6J11P (6zh11n) in triode:
Yes, I just used it in my 6C33C-B SET as driver and got a good result...i did ARTOSALO'S GYRATOR LOADED 6j11P_E WITH 350V B+ AND PLATE AT 170V.

using gsmok's simulator, I can't find a combo for the 6S33S (6C33C) for SET use that doesn't have sky high H3, and I do mean sky high.
Is sky high H3 a characteristic of the 6S33S, or am I doing something wrong?
For the 845, admittedly a very linear triode indeed, I can fiddle with the simulator to get H3 really low, lower than 0.2%, but not the 6S33S.
Can someone show a setup on gsmok's simulator for the 6S33S for a SET that has reasonable distortion specs?
