Alright .. I've searched for this solution for hours and I'm getting frustrated.
I really want to use software and a high quality soundcard to handle a 3-way crossover for each channel in a 5 channel HT system.
It blows my mind that there aren't commercial products available that do this. (maybe there are .. but I can't find any) This is especially frustrating to me because my $500 eclipse car deck has a dsp that gives me very adjustable 3-way crossovers. Just blown away that my 2.4ghz P4 doesn't have the software available to do this easily.
Anyone? Please help!

Brutefir can do it if you are moving to LINUX
and know how to generate the filter coefficients

Alright .. I'm not afraid of that solution, but it surprises me that there isn't a windows based solution for this.
I'd like to use my computer as a htpc for playing dvds, cds, dvr, etc. There are certainly full-featured software packages available on linux, but my experience with Linux has always been that I spend double the time in both the initial setup and in maintenance of any linux based solution.
