Treating multiple drivers as a single driver when designing & modeling

Hey,

I can't find the specifics of how to represent multiple identical drivers as a single driver when plugging TS parameters into design and modeling software.

I know that the output increases 3db each time the driver count is doubled, that the net Re is computed based on the series/parallel arrangements, etc.

I'm not sure how to treat the Le and what other parameters should be adjusted and how (Vas)?

I've seen this information presented in the middle of other threads before but naturally I can't find it now that I need it!

Thanks.

Just think about how they are physically attached. The diaphragm area doubles and the RE halves if they are in parallel. The the inductance will fall such that the Re, Le equality point stays at the same frequency. If they are wired in series then the Re doubles, etc. Its not too hard.
