I've been searching the net and this page for info about TL for the last few days, I read couples of article but nothing clear... What is a Tl, I mean how does it works and why is it so good when computed correctly?
I wanted to build a set of subs for my new room, a big one, at last 🙂. I thought of 2X10'' closed each side but what if I could ''Tl'' the boxes as Im going crazy with port noise
. Actually I need a software and theory.

I remember of a HUGE PDF file that was sent to me once, might talk of Tl's, maybe not but it was big 😀 , dyou remember it, where is it !
edit: I know that Tl's are not ''modelable'' enough to include proper theory but at least you can give me the basics/advices to works with...

Actually, with the help of Martin King, TLs are largely model-able nowadays. With that being said, the concept is still not that easy to wrap your mind around. Since you've been to Dave's site (I'm assuming you mean www.t-linespeakers.org ), you should also try Bob Brine's site and Martin King's site. Respectively, they are found here:

I agree with you, BAM, that the learning curve is s t e e p. But I used MJK's Mathcad worksheets to model my first TL, and I'm not very good at modelling.
I could NOT, however, have met with any success without the help of this group. I think that the thread for my project turned out to be about 30 pages of helpful points, questions, graphs and even critiques.
The moral of the story is to use the alignment tables or the Mathcad worksheets and bring all your troubles to this forum.
