Power transistors available-I got mine

Thanks for the reply.
I got an e-mail about a week after posting this.
A great guy at Stanford (20 miles away!) was wanting to get 100 transistors to match up so I went in with him. I think he said 93 of em matched to the level that NP suggests.

I ended up with 32 IRF 140 -enough for my SOZ, another SOZ
AND a future Aleph 2 or 4!!!

I think he has more that he wants to sell, so if anyone needs pairs or larger matched sets, e-mail me and I will forward to him

The son o zen sounds like the perfect England amp,
keep you nice and toasty. Lucky for me, San Francisco is no tropical paradise either......

No more transistors

The transistors I knew of were all sold.

He had no problem getting rid of them. There is a pretty steady
interest on this site.

I think someone could order 100 and get almost all of them
matched into sets of 6 (thats what you need for the Aleph 4 or 2-right? There is a big price break for 100.

If you can match them, the value added would certainly pay for
the cost of your transistors.
