So I have a Numark CM200 mixer that has it's outputs toasted, or so I think. It feeds my Behringer Ultradrive Pro DCX2496 and has been sounding downright AWFUL recently. Bass is smeared and scratchy. The Master, Zone, and XLR outputs are toast, however the record-out sounds just fine.
So, with my rudimentary knowledge of electronics and without my multimeter (I fried it), it's my guess that it's either the SIP-8 JRC NJM4558LD's that are bad, or the two JRC 7915a transistors - the PCB looks as if it's been baked in that area.
I'm having a difficult time finding a suitable replacement for the 7915a's, particularly because I don't know precisely what I'm looking for since I can't find a spec sheet on these things.
Does anyone know of a great replacement for these? Anything that would be a step up?
