I am wondering if anyone has further information on what seems to be some outdated power transistors. I am repairing an old car amplifier that I damaged. It uses Philips BDV65B and BDV64B output transistors and I already have some NTE 270 and 271 replacements on their way to get started
The originally unbridged boards use BDV65B with a F8301 designation and BDV64B with a F8310. The originally bridged board has a BDV64B with F8305 and a BDV65B with F8405. I am starting to wonder what the second part number would possibly mean. Maybe a beefier transistor?? I've googled for a few hours and find almost no information on the transistor alone.
