When not on cal yes. When I put either on cal the trace dances. And it must be one line flashing so fast it looks like 4 or 5. Every time I try to take a pic it only catches one like
What if you probe the signal from the function generator? Do you get a usable waveform displayed?
not sure where to probe for that but it’s not going to do anything on cal. I can’t even get a trace
It wasn’t anything there on channel 2. It’s probably been like that since I’ve had it. I just use it to see if I’m getting drive. Didn’t know how to properly use it to know it wasn’t working right
Go back to single channel and see if you can get both channels to give you a steady waveform or straight-line trace (like you'd get if you connected the probe ground and probe across a 9v battery).
You need to distinguish the cal test point and the cal setting on the var adjustment. Shorthand is making things confusing.
