I am not sure if this is an easy question or not, but I am looking for transistor replacements for the power amp board on a STR-6120. I tried google for cross reference guide but all I could get were NTE parts. Has anyone worked with this board before that has suggestions? I have intentions for a shotgun of this board due to serious heat damage to nearly all the resistors and caps, my guess is the transistors are dead too and if I am pulling them I might as well replace them.

These are OLD parts.. substitutes wont be easy to come by. It's unlikely you'll get anything suitable for the power transistors for example.
Considering the difficulty in sourcing these parts (I could only find one from my local supplier, 2SC756 and it wasn't cheap), I would suggest testing them rather than just doing a total replacement. This may reduce your problem to a more manageable level. Given the age of the unit, it is likely that the semiconductors are germanium and not readily available. How did the heat damage occur?

I am not sure how the damage occurred, I inherited it this way. But everthing on this amp board's right side is pretty well cooked.
