I am looking for a transistor that has "D2350" printed on it. I have no idea of what make it is, and in effect it tested a bit iffy. It is on a motorcycle ignition box. I have swapped transistors in ignition boxes before on an old xs650, and yamaha viragoes but those have been with a published replacement. So could someone point me at what a D2350 is and if there is a replacement.
Is it an SD2350 ?
Thanks.
Srinath.

AuroraB: It could be a 0, or an o. I am not really sure.
KatieandDad: 2sd2350 unobtanium - is there a cross reference - well NTE152 turned up as a cross reference but I am rather reluctant to put in an NTE on something that can die 100 miles from home on a cold rainy night. I guess I am looking for a good substitute, if I have to get the NTE152, I might make an external plugin type where you can swap a new one in and I'll buy a whole 100 pack, swap em @ every fillup kinda deal.
Thanks.

This link - SD2350 Semiconductor (Transistor, diode, IC) Cross reference
Says -

Darlington NPN Silicon2SD1071, 2SD1113, 2SD1307, 2SD1976300/300V, 6A, 40W, B>500
Is that accurate - I will be comparing the specs, but well, I am sorta clueless. So I may miss something.
Thanks.

Motorcycle websites have subbed in the 2SD1071 and had failures.
They had some info on the NTE2317.
NTE2317, specifically designed for ignition modules, that according to
this guy does work in my bike's TCI.
See: http://www.nteinc.com/specs/2300to2399/NTE2317.html
I have that sitting in my shelf, waiting for my foot to heal (Topaz surgery) and awaitng being used.
Cool.
