I am desperatly looking for a place where I could buy transformer enclosures, such as the one shown in the photo herebelow:

I am not looking for this specific one (it is just for the example) my transformer is 150mm x 86mm. The dream would be to find a place having different sizes of enclosures .
Any suggestion ?

good site, but it is limited to small size transformers : 80mm max for a toroidal transformer.

hi, I did think of using those large stainless steel coffee or sugar jar, cut neatly in the middle somewhere 🙂, bonus? nice satin finish...

ha ha...in your case it can be those copper deep cooking pan, or in my case I'll pay a visit to local junk yard try to find a piece of stainless steel pipe, a cover plate...weld them my self...so many ways to us DIYer for a jar of fine coffee 🙂

Looks like a lot of thought went into the design of that product line. Out of curiosity - wouldn't they be more effective if they included filtered and shielded pass-through connectors for the transformers' power leads?

I use to add a capacitor beteen the primaries of the transformer. not sure it is what you mean...

am I right you would like the casing for cosmetic reasons? To shield magnetic field you would need mu-metal (expensive) and you can't even make yourself the box as mu-metal looses its shielding properties when bend.

this is actually a brilliant idea!!! stainless can be painted....you can chop off the handles and presto you have a convenient traffo cover....

I am afraid to not find a large enough coffee jar.... (do not say me that I use a too large transformer 😎) but I will try. In Europe we also have large milk jar (for the child between 0 and 24 months old) that are larger than the coffee jars...

That pair of handles can be mounted on front plate.....maybe painted in pink? ...,naah...silly idea...😛
