Hi All!

Im in abit of trouble. My transformers are very close to the output boards, and i fear trouble becouse of that.

I do have both steel and cooper sheets that can be used to ehm.. screen(?) transformers from the outputs, but witch ones will be best to use?

Sorry my bad english, not to sure about the words, hehe 🙂

It has been my experience (from a grounding perspective) that stainless steel will ground RF better and copper will ground power better. In a shielding situation I think that the steel would be better since it is a ferrous metal. Lead would probably be ideal but the point is to prevent the magnetic lines of flux from messing with your output stages.

For this application I would go with steel.
