Newbie asking about some parts im my basment stock. I want to build a GC with a lm3875. The question is about power.
Amveco torroid transformers. 2 primarys at 117 and 2 secondaries at 55v with a whopping 990 VA rating at the secondaries. part # AA 59902-055.
These were free so it would be great to use them.
With line voltage varying from 108-132 that puts my rails from +/- 35 - 43 v.
This is a little scary on the top end for the 3875???
Are there any good regulator circuits that won't affect sound quality?
