i have a 150 watt rms sub plate amp and am trying to increase the reserve power to help reduce chances of amp clipping. i've replaced the two 6800 uf 63v. ps caps with 10,000 uf 80v. caps, replaced the 8 amp 400v. silicone bridge with 15 amp 600v. stealth diodes. these changes seem to be an improvement. the transformer secondary, the two blue leads put out 85v. and, it's center tapped. i have a blown 240 watt rms amp which, i took the 10,000 uf caps out of with same type transformer except larger and puts out 95v. between the two blue wires and is also center tapped. could the extra 10 volts maybe be too much for some of the circuitry thanks for any ideas crippledchicken
