Hello All, I am building a BOSOZ and instead of using the two transformers as shown on the plan I was thinking of using a single higher rated trannie.
The transformer I have has is a 160VA Plitron with two sets of 30 volt windings and I am wondering if it is possible to wire it for 60volts as shown on the BOSOZ plan?
Thanks for any help.

You are talking about creating +/- 40 volts,
and this will work without modification, except to
lower the Zener diode reference on the supplies.
Your will note that the article shows performance
for the circuit down to +/-30 volts, where it will
still do 10 V rms at .1% thd.

Thanks Mr. Pass for your reply.
After having another look at the article I am going to go with the original dual Avel transformers.
Do you think it would ge benificial to beef up the power supply capacitance?
Thanks again.
