I'm trying to save an old chassis that never came to fruition. Lots of work went into it, but I think I can save it as long as the transformer and choke arrangement are OK. I'm actually not sure about the core orientation on the potted WE transformer, but if I had to guess, it's just like the choke in front of it. Since its a choke input, can the cores be parallel?
Thank you!

Hi!
Important is the orientation of the output transformers towards the power supply iron. No need to worry too much about the power supply parts. If it's choke input, the first choke and the power transformer will produce the largest stray fields. If they couple a little into each other that does not harm a lot, but take care that they don't interact with the OPTs or small signal tubes or input signal wiring

Thanks!
That was my intuition as well. I figured that most Filtering occurs after the first choke anyway, so the coupling here is not that much of an issue.
