tracking and magnetic field power supplies

I was just wondering if anyone had some practical designs on either magnetic field or tracking power supplies? Anyone other than Bob Carver that is. Just something that could be built by a diyer for a relitively reasonable cost. Thanks

I think you'll find some ideas on tracking supplies in the manufacturer's data sheets.
A search in google - circuits etc. will certainly find something.
