Thanks, I've see it can be found quite cheap:

Why the choice goes to that particular one?

Thanks, I've seen also very good feedback for this better looking PSU:

Enclosure looks good but I would focus more on the power supply itself. It’s your decision, what’s important is to have fun
Thanks for the head-up @e_fortier , I don't know if you looked at the feedback on the object, but everyone is talking about the improvement on sound, not on look.
I think it's this one:

So the SMPS seems this one: https://it.aliexpress.com/i/32377749984.html

Yes, it is quote clear that you are conservative.
Even with no brand, alot of people has given very good feedback to that SMPS.
I've found locally a MeanWell 48V 7.5A clone, declared as 10A, used, for 20€ shipping included.
I will give it a try.

I’ve had bad experiences with cheap power so now I stick with well known reliable stuff.
Just buy it.
Just buy it.
Have you reported them here? If not can you do it?
I'm curious of possible failures I could face.
Thanks!

Common issues of cheap power supplies are related to the most expensive components: inductors and transformers. The consequences are excessive electromagnetic interference emission and/or overheating of the transformer. Loss of insulation on extreme cases, noise/coil whining and bad efficiency on most instances. I've seen very bad power supplies where regulation is lost before the overcurrent/overtemperature protection kicks in, so you have voltage spikes at the output if you try to draw the maximum current for extended periods of time.
Thank you @pcan !
I will not need continuously 480W from the PSU, even considering a very bad 70% combined efficiency of PSU and power amp together.
I have efficient speakers at 98 dB/Wm and they can handle 150Wrms continuously, but that would be too much.
Let me see how it sounds and I will report it here.

Hi Eric, do you know what is the aluminium enclosure that fits this power supply? Many people will use the Meanwell LRS-350-48 which is a 48Vdc, 350W power supply.
The seller of the SMPS I found is postponing the delivery, so I canceled the order and your suggestion could come useful, but I need an enclosure for it.
Thanks
Roberto
Hi, I recently bought this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005914845154.html. Seems to be the same as the one in the nice box: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000011472614.html

For the stuff I care if it blows up, I use mean well supplies minimum. Especially with bipolar supplies where they need positive, negative and ground. These TPA chip amp boards are prone to nuclear death when they get pushed hard, so don't crowbar your power supply into the grave during trials. Dim bulb testers and current limiters and switch mode supplies don't work well together.
That's exactly the reason why I went for it: for home use, with speakers very efficient like mines, I'll never push the PSU hard.
I am using them for my own home grown class D amps with home grown speakers and subs. Can't get too ugly. So far behaving quite well.
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I need some advice.
I drive two JL Marine Audio subwoofers with two Nobosound G2 PRO Mini 300W Mono, both with TPA3255D2 amp chips.
Instead of the standard power supplies (32V-5A), I would like to get a single 48V power supply and I saw this https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B0C54VDWVL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ...
Do you think it could be good?
