Has anybody DIY'd a Toshiba LCD Projector bulb/ballast unit - looking to just replace the bulb and wondered where I could source one 🙂
Are you planning on retrofitting a different type of bulb, like hqi? Thats what i plan to do as soon as my projector gets here.
Pooh - yes I have a Toshiba MT1Z LCD projector and lamp is packing up but ballast unit still going strong but you replace the lamp and ballast as a package - making it expensive to replace. Was wondering where I could get just a bulb as it looks dead easy to replace. Any idea?????

oh sorry no i dont know where you could just get a bulb, but i did see some auction on ebay where they do it for you, i forgot how much they are charging but they basically refurbish a lamp that you send in.
