I'll need to have a look on my maps.

The amplifiers look very interesting also. I think a linear PSU is a good choice. My friend says many Pro Audio amps use SMPS because it gives the task of certification to the power supply maker. That is a nice reduction in costs. Also less weight. Mostly linear is better. That is except when the SMPS is oversized. The 400 VA Hypex PSU sounds better than my 250 VA + 2 x 22 000 uF linear. By matching the Hypex the linear won the day as it was slightly less hazy sounding. On measurements it was clear cut. The linear had less RF output. If I were Hypex I would derive my SMPS oscillator from the Hypex amps somehow ( flip flop divider at 100 kHz ? ) . Perhaps start on a master clock then change to output devived. Then the RF harmonics would be related.
smps psu is better than anything but only when its in working mode.when its fail then it is wrost than anything.

Hello andrewlebon
I am Live in India ,(Maharashtra) On of your post in diyaudio you said toroidal core is chip in India about 1$ per kg. can you tell me where you get toroidal core that chip. And tell where to get all material required for toroidal transformer in India. wetting for replay.
