Can I put two toroid power transformers on top of each other ? I think that I saw somewhere on the internet that someone did this without problems (?)

Not perfect, but close enough for government work. Of course, Dutch isn't THAT difficult. We have over a million of 5 year olds speaking it easily.

Yeah,
the only thing with toroids is that you have to watch out that the upper metal mounting plate is not touching any other metal part of the chassis, because ( translating this should be easy ) dat creeert een nieuwe winding .
This acts as a short.
Stacking is no problemo.
