Toroid.pl SE transformers any good?

There is a recent thread in diyAudio on the Toroidy "Single Ended" transformers.
It had a lot of info, but apparently some of the Toroidy "single ended" models were not
(they could not take DC in the primary, so they were only for Para Feed single ended circuits)
That requires an additional Capacitor, and a Plate Choke.

Seems like many in the thread were advising to use real SE transformers such as Air Gapped E-I cores, or Air Gapped C-Cores.

I was not able to find the thread in a quick search.

Four years later... Have we now got any definitive info on how well these transformers work in SET amplifiers? Searched the forums and there's not much about them. A few negative reviews a few years ago and some positive ones in push pull applications. Anyone got any insight? Even the supreme audio edition is an economical option here in Australia.

Appreciate your thoughts!

If the question is specifically Toroidy SE transformers, than I have used them for a Tubelab SSE and they perform very well to my ears, across the frequency spectrum.

I think some of the negative reviews come from people raising a red flag for SE and toroids in general? I don't think I've ever seen a dissatisfied customer comment here.
