Panel: Nview 215z
It might not be the worst of the lcd panel problems, but lately it had been getting on my nerves. The top half of my lcd panel is darker than the bottom. No amount of contrast/brightness tweaking works because the top will always be darker and the bottom brighter.
Im sure this is just do to the age of these panels, but any tips would be great.
Thanks
The same thing happens with my Sharp QA-1650. I have black cloth blocking the escaping light around the panel, it's still noticeabe, but not as much. Most people I've shown the projections to haven't noticed any of the things I've noticed, though.
(I actually haven't touched my projector in 3 weeks, I think I got bored with it).

yea, I have a nice set-up blocking all light coming from the projector, or atleast most of it, but this is not the source of the problem. It is the actual panel with the problem( ie I turn the panel upside down and it is darker at the bottom instead of the top ). I doubt there is anything to solve this issue, and it isnt that noticable just very bothersome because if it were not for this one problem I swear the picture would be PERFECT.
Anyone else with a similair problem?
Thanks
