the beta 12 was already simmed.
that would be no problem converting it in to a real box.
but before doing so, we have to consider the space occupied by the mid high section.
therefore first the mh wave guide mustbe modeled.after that its just a question of modeling something like the "kornielike horn"with the simmed parameters for the beta 12 a.

i did some extensive measuring yesterday and this morning.
the results are just not good enough.
the spread is good ,but the loss of hf above 9khz is unacceptable(to me), compared to a normal cd horn.
this maybe is accepteble for huge line arays with eqing .
this shows the measurements where you can see the difference
left graph shows the normal cd horn on and off axis.
right graph is the wave guide on and of axis (green is the cd horn on axis)

maybe whe should start looking for resonable priced cd horns .

What price range do you have in mind for the cd horn.

or we could build a stack of thing like this with some 8'' and 6.5'' drivers with tweeter in one cabinet
