Two Fairchild FAN1084 voltage regulators for the DC heater supply.

This one definitely falls in the don't try this at home dept. In fact don't even think about it. Look carefully to spot the creative top caps, base pin connections and HV rated wiring. This SE amp put out over 200 watts, and handled my guitar playing for over an hour. The red spot actually fades away when doing a Hendrix style feedback.

Well, if you had a jar like that 833, it would be full of a jelly consisting of the hottest peppers known to mankind - just the thing to spice up something as bland as peanut butter. I don't have the intestinal fortitude just yet to try something as daunting as an 833 amp. I'll be glad when I get my GM-70s lit up (probably by summer this year).
