Toner Photoresist Instructions

This is really a silly forum to post this in since my problem actually has nothing whatsoever to do with audio, but I've seen people talking about doing photolithography at home, and need to do some for some home electronics prototyping. As I mentioned above, said electronics have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with audio. Still, I was hoping someone might direct me to some sort of instructions on the toner transfer method of making photomasks? Do you print the photomask onto paper (is paper transparent enough to UV light that this would work)? If not, what do you print onto? Everything I've seen from a cursory google search has been rather vague.

Thanks

You are mixing 2 techniques.

What do you want to do?:

1) making a photomask to later make a PCB on photosensitive coated copperclad *or* to burn a silkscreen?
You'll need an UV light source or at least some 500W quartz halogen pencil lamp , the proper precoated PCB material , or an UV sensitive emulsion spray.

b) you want to make a thermal toner transfer to a regular uncoated PCB.
You'll need a clothes pressing iron and no light is involved.
