I wonder if using mirror covered in a thin light penetrable material would make a good screen? Thanks for reading

GMTA, I tried this idea a few days ago and it does nothing. I didnt see any improvements with the image or contrast.
You would think it would brighten up the image because it projects onto the screen then bounces off the mirror and hits the screen again, but thats not the case.
Onto the next idea....
