Will you please recommend a main heatsink profile and size please. (Fischer?)

And for interests sake, which preamp/buffer do you use to drive this amp?

Brianco: your questions are always welcome 😉 .

I do not use a Pre-AMP / Buffer at all.
(You have the builder's manual! Take care of the values of resistors R29, R30 and R36!)

I use a source-selector (a small DIY relay - PCB: my sources are CDP, MP3-Player and DAC) and the Lightspeed - Volume-Attenuator
(you can take a "good" dual log. potentiometer as well).

Regarding the heatsink:

I use an ALU-L - profile: 40 x 40 x 4mm.

for example, is very well suited.

Has any one of you here compared this TO-3 SYMASYM against the renowned sonus faber Musica intergrated amplifier?

I have 2x 600VA 2x35-0-35 toroid at hand for this project constructing two mono`s.
What would be the expecting Max output with ±63VDC power supply？

Expect ~+-50Vdc from 35+35Vac transformer.
Expect ~100W into 8r0 from that same transformer.
